Unless specifically agreed otherwise, all contact details held by Steve Maslin and his former business Building User Design Solutions Ltd are stored as a result of either:
- business and related community of interest correspondence, being given business cards or connecting on LinkedIn http://www.linkedin.com/pub/steve-maslin/17/b50/331
- or individuals have expressed an interest in staying in contact in order to receive news. For example, the stevemaslin.wordpress.com site logs details of those wanting to follow blogs.
Contact data is stored on Google Contacts and spreadsheet outputs, Gmail, TalkTalk Mail, iPhone contacts, WordPress and on accountancy and bank accounts / tools. Steve Maslin is the data protection officer.
I aim to process personal data fairly and lawfully. Personal data is for business and related community of interest purposes and is confined to name and contact details. It shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with business and community of interest purposes.
Personal data will be adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purposes of contacting individuals. Contacts may request access to information that I hold in keeping with the Law by emailing Steve Maslin on stevemaslin.bud@gmail.com. Requests for data to be deleted may submitted and will be deleted provided that I and Building User Design Solutions Ltd are not obliged to retain data for legal, tax or professional records purposes.
Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be taken against unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data and against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data.
